PST and PMT Exam Pattern for SI and Constable Post

Physical Screening Test (PST)

The physical screening test is qualifying in nature and no candidates will appear in the next round without the completion of the Physical screening test. In PST, candidates need to showcase their physical strength and stamina to be eligible for the post. The details are given below in the tabular form.

Additional Qualification

The candidates who successfully clear the 3rd stage are called for the final verification round of scrutiny.

Education (maximum 7 marks): 4 marks awarded to applicants with a degree in Law, Computer Engineering / Science, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Science, Police Science and Criminology and post-graduate candidates receive an additional 3 marks.

NCC Certificate (Maximum 3 marks): Candidates with NCC certificates for levels A, B, or C will receive additional marks of 1,2 or 3 for both the SI and Constable positions, respectively.
