SSC Stenographer Eligibility – Nationality

Candidates who want to write SSC Stenographer exam must fulfil the following criteria of nationality to be eligible:

Any candidates who are aCitizen of India/subject of Nepal/ Citizen of BhutanTibetan refugee who came and settled in India before January 1, 1962A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.Provided that any candidate apart for the Indian citizens have to present a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian Government.

SSC Stenographer Eligibility– Educational Qualification

Candidates who have completed or passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a government recognized board or university are eligible to apply for the SSC Stenographer Exam.

SSC Stenographer Application Form and Registration

The details of SSC Stenographer application and registration are given in the notification. Candidates willing to appear for the stenographer exam have to apply online for the same.

The online application SSC Stenographer exam 2019 started from September 20th 2019. Candidates are given a one month time period to apply or register for Stenographer examination.

The last date to fill the SSC Stenographer online application form 2019 was October 18th 2019.

The computer-based test is an online objective type test. Candidates have to complete the CBT exam in 2 hours. One mark is awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.
